Tenant finish for a major consumer packaged goods (CPG) company looking to provide a fun and collaborative space for their Denver office. Drawing on inspiration from the artistic and industrial history of the RiNo neighborhood and mountains of Colorado, the space features mixed metals, rustic woods, and whimsical graphics. Our team worked closely with both the corporate and local CPG staff throughout planning, design, and construction phases to provide them with a space that is a reflection of their brand and company culture. The result is a stunning office that promotes a balance of productivity, fun, and relaxation.

The Ballpark District is home to the second Transform Fitness location where we’ve designed a 3,100 square foot fitness studio for Lagree and Yoga classes, and a cofffee and juice bar, which is a new branch of their business. The design focus was to provide a space that reflected the brand’s established aesthetic of clean lines and raw pallet of materials, while also carefully considering building systems in order to create the proper atmosphere for a high energy, noisy Lagree studio directly adjacent to a quite, serene Yoga studio. Sophisticated heating and humidification controls, and a high level of precision detailing, made placing these diverse functions into a small footprint possible.

A unique 1960’s building in Englewood, Colorado, 501 W Hampden was historically always a bank. Its thick concrete walls and massive concrete waffle slab roof awarded the building the affectionate name of “the bunker” by the design and construction team. And though solid, this building also proved to be challenging to update for new modern retail uses. Kenney Architects recommended showcasing the unique mass by highlighting it with new white marbled porcelain tile and new aluminum curtain wall with blue grey glass. Additionally, we created a new dining patio along the south façade highlighted by historic style lighting, complimenting the character of the incoming Corner Bakery.
It is not everyday that you are asked to convert a functioning KFC/Long John Silvers into a retail branch bank, but First Bank had learned that a fast food restaurant at a high traffic corner offered some great benefits including great visibility, parking, drive-through access and the perfect size to fit within their program.
